I hope that this site will encourage people to attempt something that they've always wanted to do, no matter how large or small it is. Since I've been learning to build banjos, I've met some of the nicest people...and everyone has been extremely encouraging, helping in many ways. I think the same will happen to anyone who, to paraphrase Joseph Campbell, follows their bliss. And as my new friend Paul Waddle says, "if I can do it, anyone can."
